Wayne Colburn, the genius at Pass Labs who for the last 25 years has designed essentially all the things that aren't speaker amplifiers, wanted to make a fun, high-performance, fantastic-sounding, Class-A, DIY headphone amp for this community. We call it:

I bought this for my HiFiMan HE6SE v2 (just sold), I tested it once again with my newest headphones and it works very well as it should because now it has about 22 hours on it. I opened it up and just took the new pics, and because I know nothing about electronics, basically don't want it ruin anything. I'm had a difficult time to get the screws back on the cover so instead of doing any damage, I just reduced the price...
This amp design is highly recommended across the headphone community and punches way above it cost...Included is a power cable, 2mm hexkey for volume pot adjustment, and pretty dang good sound.

"This is a DIY kit purchased last year that was a lot of fun to build. It's got less than 20 hours on it and sounds great. Lots of info about it on line. The PCB was designed by Wayne Colburn of Pass Labs and was built according to the on-line guide at DIY audio.

The amp will operate as a single source pre-amp as well -- but the wiring to the switching phono jack is not completed ( a resistor should be added to match the amplifier's impedance requirement according to the guide)". Includes: power mains, 2mm hex wrench (for the volume knob), and the amp. Please PM for shipping quotes.
