One of my old favorites in Vali 2+ was a EH 6CG7...yup...works well. The glow of the heaters is muted in most 6CG7's. Alex Note going back and forth between Vali 2 + and Vali 3. Vali 3 wins almost everytime. Seem just clearer overall with most any tube in comparison. Must be that 100 volts thing!- adydula
