I think you are right, from my experience so far is that the only difference there can be between Voltage and most TOTL up to 3K, will basically depend on your tuning tastes :)

My advice is that everyone subscribe to the Penon newsletter :) However, it is unrealistic to think that a newer and better technological flagship will be cheaper than the previous one!

In a few days I will receive a healthy discharge from Voltage, I cannot give details but I think that the selling price of Voltage is very correct given the current times, the excellent choice of drivers and quality construction at Penon I think will be worth it, I am impatient :)
